Our ‘Hands-on communication online workshop’ runs for 3.5hrs and is open to anyone who would like to gain a solid understanding of the key concepts of health literacy.

Our workshop aims to

• Increase understanding of health literacy and its importance to health

• Build knowledge and understanding of effective interpersonal communication

• Increase confidence to convert and create documents in plain language

• Develop verbal communication skills (teach-back)

Our workshops are run online via Zoom and are capped at a maximum of 20 participants. They include discussions around case studies, facilitated group activities, interactive quizzes as well as practical tips and tricks.

After the workshop, you will receive a resource booklet and a certificate of participation, which you can add to your continuing professional development (CPD) record. .

Please note: our group workshops require a minimum number of 6 participants to run.
